This makes 18 grandsons and Ava. Each birth is a miracle.
Born on his brother Taylor's birthday, Matthew weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz.,
and joins a special fraternity of five 2011 Owen cousins: Kaden, Wyatt, Jude, Jacob, Matthew.

It was exciting to parade in from the tunnel and to have a sit on the floor.

This is our department chair and my committee chair, Dr. Cheryl Wright. Trish Saccomano (Christian Frech's mom) is taking the photo. She's in charge of the student-teacher K-3 group, and I worked with her this last semester for part of my project. To the left, is Dr. Marissa Diener, who was on my committee, and was in charge of the graduate students in the FCS department. Another of my favorites.
Finally receiving the diploma, well at least the cover for the soon-to-be-mailed diploma. Dr. Jessie Fan, my Family Economics professor presented it to me. It was nice to have so many professors that I knew from our department, there participating.The second man in my life, at least for the moment, was Matt Asiata.
The flowers in his wreath smelled wonderful.
The Convocation seemed late, but family was there to support.
We celebrated with great food at P F Chang's afterwards. Yum!
